Hegseth co hosted âFox & Friends Weekendâ from 2016 until late 2024. His financial disclosure lists 4.6 million dollars in salary for calendar years 2023 and 2024 alone.
Speaker bureaus paid him between ten thousand and twenty thousand dollars for standard appearances. Select events brought as much as one hundred fifty thousand dollars for a single speech.
Book advances provided another large cash infusion. An imprint of Penguin Random House, paid 348,000 dollars for âThe War on Warriors.â Broadside Books issued 150,000 dollars for âBattle for the American Mind.â Each title continues to generate royalties that fall between one hundred thousand plus one million dollars per year, the disclosure states.
Real estate adds a further layer of income. A rental row house in Baltimore produced between one hundred thousand and one million dollars in profit during the reporting period. Hegseth and his wife Jennifer own a 9,800-square-foot estate in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Zillow estimates the property at 3.2 million dollars. A thirty year mortgage on the home costs 19,000 dollars each month.
The couple also hold a modest cryptocurrency position. Between fifteen thousand but also fifty thousand dollars sits in bitcoin – according to the same filing.
